Keep in mind that you will have to order the building of various houses and buildings like hospitals, schools, farms, blacksmith shops, and such. However, note that you will also have to balance your resources and ensure that enough resources are being produced to ensure that the citizens are stocked. Otherwise, your citizens won’t be happy and there will be problems.

Quite realistic The game is realistic in how you will have to build everything. Know that you will get cloth from tailors, burn firewood to keep warm, make houses, and do more. Disasters can strike Note that everything won’t be happy always since there are hazards that will keep you on your toes. These hazards are starvation, harsh weather, fires, depression, an aging population, and such.
Citizens are everything After all, citizens are the primary resource. If you want your town to prosper then you will have to keep them happy. You will get new citizens from new nomads who will look to settle in your community or from new children being born. Note that the group you initially came in are not immortal. They will age and die eventually. Banished is a game for everyone who likes building everything from scratch. If you love controlling every aspect of a game where people will do whatever you say then this is the game for you. This is what makes the game so fun.
